BCBSOK receives certified healthy business distiction for sixth year

Blue Cross and Blue Shield and Blue Shield of Oklahoma recently received a 2008 Certificate of Merit from the Oklahoma Certified Healthy Business Program.

This is the sixth consecutive year Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma has been honored with the award, designed to recognize businesses that work to improve Oklahoma’s health status by providing health and wellness opportunities for their employees.

The Oklahoma Certified Healthy Business program is sponsored by the Oklahoma Academy for State Goals, the Oklahoma Turning Point Council, the State Chamber of Commerce and the Oklahoma State Department of Health.
