Medicare changes are coming – Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma offers seminars to address Medicare changes

The Medicare Modernization Act of 2003 called for sweeping changes in Medicare. These changes include two new programs – Medicare Advantage, which will be introduced this summer, and Medicare Part D, coming Jan. 1, 2006.

Upcoming seminars sponsored by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma will address specific Medicare changes, including Medicare Advantage and Medicare Part D, and help educate seniors about their options. A representative from the Social Security Administration also will be available to discuss retirement issues.
