O-EPIC Insure Oklahoma meeting Sept. 28

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma is one of the sponsors for the 2006-2007 Health Care Forum series scheduled from 3-4:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 28, in the Tulsa Metro Chamber’s second floor conference room, Williams Tower II, Two West Second Street, #150, Tulsa, OK  74103.

Join fellow business leaders for an informative briefing on Oklahoma’s state subsidized insurance plan for employers with 50 or fewer employees. Eligibility will be expanded from businesses with 25 or fewer employees to businesses with 50 or fewer employees effective October 2006.

O-EPIC Insure Oklahoma gives a state subsidy for small businesses to provide group health coverage to their employees. Employers pay 25 percent, the state pays 60 percent and the employees pick up the remaining 15 percent of the cost.
