Free Admission to Science Museum Oklahoma for Be Smart – Don't Start Anti-Tobacco Day on May 2
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma (BCBSOK) invites the public to attend Be Smart – Don't Start Anti-Tobacco Day at Science Museum Oklahoma on Saturday, May 2. The first 500 people will receive free admission to the interactive museum, courtesy of BCBSOK.
BCBSOK mascot Blaze the Braggin' Blue Dragon and popular children's band Spaghetti Eddie will be at the event. Spaghetti Eddie will debut a special song about the importance of being tobacco free with two concerts at 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Be the first to hear the catchy song about not using tobacco.
Be Smart – Don't Start partners, The American Lung Association and the Oklahoma State Department of Health, will also join in on the fun by providing hands-on, educational activities for children to enjoy. BCBSOK's Mobile Assistance Center will also be present with trivia and prizes.
The annual Be Smart – Don't Start program is an initiative to help teach school-aged children the dangers of tobacco use, and how to make smart choices to live a healthy life.
