Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma Customer Service Center Celebrates Fifth Anniversary

Tulsa, OK — Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma (BCBSOK) today marked the fifth anniversary of its customer service, claims and membership processing center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with a celebration and brief program at the Full Service Unit (FSU) located at 7777 E 42nd Place.

"Our employees actively support Tulsa through fundraising and volunteer opportunities, while also delivering business, employment and economic development to the area," said Ted Haynes, president of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma. "I'm pleased to celebrate the five-year milestone today with our hardworking customer service team, and I'm confident we'll continue to deliver high levels of satisfaction and service to our members across the state, for many years to come."

BCBSOK relocated its customer service personnel from the downtown Tulsa location to the state-of-the-art customer service facility in November, 2008. The FSU employs approximately 460 individuals who provide a full range of services, including claims/membership processing and customer service to over 700,000 BCBSOK members and 14,000 providers.
