Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma Receives Brand Excellence Award
Recognition Exemplifies Loyalty of Members
Tulsa, OK — Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma announced today that it received a Brand Excellence Award from the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association (BCBSA). The annual awards honor Blue Cross and Blue Shield companies that excel in developing and enhancing the overall Blue Cross and Blue Shield brand image.
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma is receiving the recognition of Brand Excellence Award in the Member Retention category for having a high member retention rate over the past year.
"Our employees have worked very hard to build lasting relationships with our members, resulting in a loyal customer base," said Bert Marshall, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma president. "We appreciate the recognition from BCBSA for the hard work and excellent service our employees are committed to every day."
This marks the 17th year BCBSA has presented the Brand Excellence Awards to Blue Cross and Blue Shield companies nationwide in categories that promote the Blue Brands including attracting new customers, fostering loyalty to existing customers, and Brand innovation.

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma has been awarded with the Brand Excellence Award eight times since 2000. In 2008, the company was recognized as the Best of Blue Award Winner in the Open Enrollment Category.
