Two recognized names in health care -- Blue Cross and Blue Shield and Beltone -- have joined forces to provide Oklahomans with FREE hearing screenings and discounted affordable hearing care products and services. This program also applies to Blue Cross and Blue Shield members' parents and grandparents. To receive the discount, the member simply accompanies the family member to the initial visit.

Products and services

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma members can save money on hearing care through the Beltone discount program.  The program provides:

  • A FREE hearing screening
  • An additional 25 percent discount off the retail price on any purchases of Beltone-brand hearing aid
  • Complimentary follow-up testing of the hearing aid within 30 days of receipt of the hearing aid
  • A minimum of two complimentary follow-up visits within one year from the date of purchase of the hearing aid
  • One-year supply of batteries (32 cells or 52 size 10A cells)
  • A complimentary two-year limited warranty
  • Toll-free telephone number -- 1-800-BELTONE -- to help members locate the nearest providers and service centers or access additional information nationwide.  This information also is available from http://www.beltone.com/.
  • Present your Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma ID card at the time of service to receive the discount.

Discount does not apply to previous purchases and cannot be combined with local promotions.  Available only at participating Beltone locations.
