New Availity Web Portal Solution for Oklahoma Providers Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma is pleased to announce Availity® Health Information Network as its new Online Service Web Portal. Providers and other health care professionals must register with Availity in order to continue conducting online real-time transactions. Availity offers its customers access to more robust real-time and Electronic Data Interchange transactions via a single secure Web portal for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma and other national and regional payers.
Availity, L.L.C., is jointly owned by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida, Humana and Health Care Service Corporation, which operates through its Divisions: Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Mexico, and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma. The Availity Health Information Network encompasses administrative, financial and clinical services, supports both real-time and batch transactions, and is HIPAA compliant. Some of the free services available to you include:
1. Real-time and batch transactions, including eligibility and benefits, claim status, claim submission, electronic remittance, authorizations and referrals 2. Access to Aetna, CIGNA and Humana in real-time now (Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma and all other Blue plans eligibility and benefits and claim status will be available this fall) 3. Access to hundreds of payers for claim transactions is available now and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma will be available this fall. 4. Web-based training
Register for Availity today at http://www.availity.com/. Upon receipt of a signed agreement, Availity will e-mail your temporary password to you. The first time you log in to the Availity Health Information Network, you will be asked to customize your password. It's that simple.
