BCBSOK Secondary to Medicare Claims
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma is experiencing problems with electronic claims submitted when Blue Cross Blue Shield is Secondary to Medicare claims. It appears this issue may have started mid/late December.
If you are receiving the denial message on your Provider Claim Summary (PCS) or Electronic Payment Summary (EPS) or Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) requiring Medicare Information, please do not resubmit these claims electronically until this issue has been resolved. We will inform you as soon as a resolution becomes available.
Note: This does not affect Medicare Crossover claims received from Global Health Incorporated (GHI), Medicare’s clearinghouse.
