Specialty Pharmacy Program*
Specialty medications are used to treat serious or chronic medical conditions such as multiple sclerosis, hemophilia, hepatitis and rheumatoid arthritis. These medications are typically injectable and can be self-administered by a patient or family member.
The Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma specialty pharmacy program provides a convenient, cost-effective way for our members to order specialty medications.
Quality Specialty network pharmacies are accredited by JCAHO (Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organization), which ensures the highest standard of pharmacy care. They are experts in supplying medications and services to patients living with complex health conditions.
Save money Members can order specialty medication on a monthly basis from a specialty network pharmacy and pay their plan’s applicable in-network copay or coinsurance amount.
Save time Specialty medications are conveniently delivered to the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma member’s home or directly to their health care provider’s office.
