Nearly one in five Oklahomans live and work every day without health insurance coverage.
The rising number of uninsured Americans is a problem that impacts everyone. Lack of access to quality, affordable health care means serious health and financial risks for the uninsured and contributes to the problem of rising health care costs for everyone. Currently, 14.6 percent of Americans are uninsured. In Oklahoma, the statistics are even higher at 18 percent.
