Agreement Reached between Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma and Saint Francis Hospital Muskogee

MUSKOGEE, OKLA. – Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma and Saint Francis Hospital Muskogee have signed a new contract. The agreement means Blue Cross and Blue Shield members can seek services at Saint Francis Hospital Muskogee and receive in-network benefits as they do with all of the other entities of the Saint Francis Health System. Services received by BCBSOK members from June 1-14 at both Saint Francis Hospital Muskogee facilities will be reprocessed to receive in-network benefits and payments will be adjusted according to the member's benefit plan.

Having access to a local hospital that is part of the region's most comprehensive health system is a great thing for the women, children and men who call the Muskogee region home," said Tony Young, administrator and senior vice president, Saint Francis Health System.

BCBSOK members in the Blue Choice PPOSM, Blue Advantage PPOSM Blue TraditionalSM, Blue PreferredSM PPO, BlueLincs HMO and Medicare Supplemental (excluding Blue Plan65 Select) health plans will have in-network access to both Saint Francis Hospital Muskogee facilities. Blue Cross Medicare AdvantageSM health plans will have in-network access to Saint Francis Hospital Muskogee facilities through December 31, 2017. Physicians associated with Saint Francis Hospital Muskogee will continue to participate with BCBSOK as in-network providers.
