Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma's (BCBSOK) contract with INTEGRIS Health (INTEGRIS) will expire Aug. 31, 2017. If we are not able to reach a new agreement before then, INTEGRIS will no longer be a part of our Blue TraditionalSM, Blue Choice PPOSM, Blue Preferred PPOSM, BlueLincs HMOSM and Medicare AdvantageSM networks. This situation does not affect doctors who treat patients at INTEGRIS and remain independently contracted with us.
Tulsa, Okla. – On July 10, 2017, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma (BCBSOK) terminated Shadow Mountain Behavioral Health System's (Shadow Mountain) participation in our Blue Traditional, Blue Choice PPOSM, Blue Preferred PPOSM and Blue Medicare Advantage PPOSM networks. The termination is effective immediately.
Tulsa, Okla. — Resonance Center for Women, Inc. (Resonance) has been named the recipient of the Dr. Rodney L. Huey Memorial Champion of Oklahoma Health, the highest honor of the Champions of Health awards. Resonance , a Tulsa-based non-profit organization, offers substance abuse treatment as an alternative to incarceration and prison-to-community reentry services for those who have been incarcerated. As the overall winner, Resonance will receive a $15,000 grant, which will be presented at the 2017 Champions of Health gala on Sept. 28 at the Cox Business Center in Tulsa. Award-winning journalist and host of "CBS Sunday Morning," Jane Pauley, will be the 2017 Champions of Health keynote speaker.

Individuals, groups and organizations that are working to positively change the health status of Oklahomans, through unique and innovative programs, are encouraged to apply for the 2017 Champions of Health awards. (TULSA, OKLA.) - In 2012, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma (BCBSOK) collaborated with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and other payers to offer Oklahoma-based primary care practices an opportunity to participate in the Comprehensive Primary Care (CPC) initiative. This initiative encouraged physicians over the course of four years to transform the way they practice, focusing on collaboration between other practices and improving patient health outcomes. Oklahoma was one of seven regions to participate in the initiative. There were 55 BCBSOK practices based in Northeast Oklahoma.
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma to Provide Bilingual Education and Assistance at the INTEGRIS Hispanic Health Fair
(OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLA.) – Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma's (BCBSOK) Mobile Assistance Center (MAC) will participate in the INTEGRIS Hispanic Health Fair from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 8 at Moore Norman Technology Center (13301 S. Pennsylvania Ave.) in Oklahoma City. The annual event provides attendees with health and wellness resources and a variety of health screenings.

New Health of America Report Shows Retail Clinic Visits are Up Despite a Lag Among Individually Insured
While many Americans are taking advantage of retail clinics, it seems not all consumers are accessing this convenient, lower-cost health care option at the same rate. Blue Cross Blue Shield Association's (BCBSA) newly released Health of America (HoA) found the upward trend in retail clinic visits was fueled by consumers who obtained health insurance through an employer.
