Grady Memorial Hospital to Participate in the Blue Preferred PPO Network

To offer quality health care to more Oklahomans living in rural areas, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma (BCBSOK) and Grady Memorial Hospital are pleased to announce that the hospital will now participate in BCBSOK's Blue Preferred PPOSM network, effective March 1, 2017.

Individuals enrolled in Blue Preferred PPOSM, Blue Choice PPOSM and BlueLincs HMOSM networks can now see providers at Grady Memorial Hospital at in-network benefit levels.

"This agreement allows more Oklahomans living in Grady County and surrounding areas the benefit of having a health care provider closer to home." said Joseph Cunningham, M.D., divisional senior vice president of health care delivery and chief medical officer for BCBSOK.

"Grady Memorial Hospital is owned by the county, and we are grateful to our voters for helping to fund our new building. It is important to us to add the Blue Preferred PPO Network to our menu of approved plans for our patients," said Kean Spellman, Hospital CEO. "We are a vital resource to many residents in Grady County and we are pleased we could come to an agreement with BCBSOK and improve the health care coverage in our county."
