As of June 1, 2017, Saint Francis Hospital Muskogee (formerly known as Eastar Health System) will not be in-network.
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma's (BCBSOK) immediate focus is to minimize the impact to our members during this time. BCBSOK has more than 72 independent Primary Care Physicians and 69 specialists in Muskogee still participating in our networks. Members may see these doctors for their health care needs on an in-network basis.
We want to help members with this transition. BCBSOK will be in Muskogee this weekend to help members in person, and encourage members to come ask questions and visit with a representative Saturday, June 3, 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., Muskogee Civic Center, 425 Boston St., Muskogee, OK.
Individuals enrolled in Blue Cross Medicare AdvantageSM plans and Medicare Supplemental products are not affected by the transition and will continue to be covered in-network.
As of June 1, benefit payments for services rendered at Saint Francis Muskogee will be made directly to BCBSOK members. It will be the member's responsibility to pay the hospital for accrued medical expenses.
Members with continuation of care benefits may call the number on their member ID card; customer advocates will address their specific questions and help them to submit a request.
