Grady Memorial Hospital and Five Oaks Medical Group to Remain in Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma Networks

TULSA, Okla. – Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma (BCBSOK), Grady Memorial Hospital and Five Oaks Medical Group have reached an agreement to extend in-network participation for all networks through June 30, 2020. This provides additional time for all organizations to negotiate a new, multi-year contract. This extension comes just days prior to the expiration of the current transition period.

“BCBSOK wants what’s best for our members in Chickasha and surrounding communities – and that is to continue offering convenient and affordable medical care and coverage to the people in Grady County,” said Joseph R. Cunningham MD, president of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma. “We are pleased Grady Memorial Hospital and Five Oaks Medical Group will stay in-network and we will continue to seek a new multi-year agreement.”

We would like to thank the people of Grady County for their patience and support during this negotiation. We continue to work behind the scenes to resolve contractual issues and to prevent any lapse in coverage for BCBSOK members.
