What: Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma (BCBSOK) has teamed up with community partners for “Got You Covered,” drive-thru mask giveaway events happening simultaneously at multiple sites in Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Enid, Bartlesville and Perry.
The masks are reusable and washable. Each attendee may receive up to five masks at the events, while supplies last.
When: Friday, Oct. 23 — mask distribution from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Why: According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), wearing face-coverings over the nose and mouth can reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus through the air, allowing for safer interactions between the wearer and others.
