OKLAHOMA CITY — The Oklahoma Caring Foundation, sponsored by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma, announced nominations are open for its annual Champions of Health awards.
Champions of Health is a statewide initiative recognizing outstanding nonprofits dedicated to improving the health and well-being of Oklahomans. This program for more than two decades has celebrated nonprofits that create meaningful, measurable change.
Selected honorees will receive grants and recognition at the Champions of Health gala on Sept. 29 at Arvest Convention Center.
“These organizations are the heartbeat of our communities,” said OCF Executive Director Brooke Townsend. “They are meeting people where they are, often during their most vulnerable moments, and creating real, lasting change. Champions of Health is about telling their stories, honoring their work and helping them reach even more Oklahomans.”
Eligible nonprofits are encouraged to apply or seek nomination in categories, including children’s health, senior health, uninsured, community health and Oklahoma health. Award recipients will be selected based on impact, innovation and commitment to improving health outcomes.
Nominations will be accepted through May 1. To apply, click here. To become a sponsor or buy tickets, click here.
