Cleveland Public Schools, City of Cleveland, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Oklahoma and National Fitness Campaign Provide Free Fitness for Everyone in the Cleveland Community

CLEVELAND, Oklahoma — Cleveland schools, city of Cleveland, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Oklahoma and National Fitness Campaign announced a partnership to bring an outdoor Fitness Court® and digital wellness programming to Cleveland schools. The Fitness Court at the CimTel Trail at Swan and Crestview will open 10 a.m. June 4th with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
This Fitness Court was developed by Cleveland schools, BCBSOK and NFC to expand free access to high-quality workouts and create equitable access to exercise for communities across the region. The Fitness Court is the world’s best outdoor gym that lets participants use their body weight to get a complete workout using seven exercise stations.
Created for people at least 14 years old of all abilities, the Fitness Court workouts are adaptable for all fitness levels, allowing participants to move at their own pace. Users also may download the free Fitness Court app, a coach-in-your-pocket that expands the outdoor gym into a digitally supported wellness experience. Cleveland schools and the city of Cleveland are among of the first ten campaign partners building a network of Fitness Courts statewide with help from BCBSOK.
“Cleveland schools is thrilled to partner with the city of Cleveland and our power partners to bring this addition to our 24/7 public use CimTel Trail on our campus,” said CPS Superintendent Sol Bayouth. “The community has been unbelievably generous and gracious to our campus over the years with the support of Tiger Visions 2016 and again in 2025, as a small way of saying thank you, we wanted to be able to provide something positive and beneficial to our citizens. The Fitness Court and updates to CimTel Trail are a way for our school campus to do something for the community we serve. Thank you, Cleveland — for the Land.”
