June 7 Provider Webinar Offered by the CDC

The Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) website includes a variety of resources to help promote awareness of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs).*

On June 7, 2012, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Central time, the CDC Division of STD Prevention will be hosting a webinar entitled Update on Sexual Health in Men Who Have Sex with Men (MSM). According to the CDC website, this webinar is geared toward health care practitioners who may provide care for members of the MSM population.

Agenda topics are scheduled to include:

  • Overview of the STDs particular to the MSM community
  • Recommendations for helping MSM establish and maintain sexual health
  • Discussion of the treatment guidelines and resources available to providers working with MSM
