At Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma (BCBSOK), we believe good health care is good business. Our Network Development is made up of several teams with one goal: working together to deliver the best possible service to our providers. The relationships we build with our providers continue to support efficiency and effectiveness in today's evolving health care system.
The BlueCard Program enables members of one Blue Cross and Blue Shield (BCBS) Plan to obtain health care services while traveling or living in another BCBS Plan's service area. The program links participating health care providers with independent BCBS Plans nationwide, and in more than 200 countries and territories worldwide, via an extensive electronic network for claims processing and reimbursement. Learn more about BlueCard products and refer to our Claims and Eligibility page for tips on processing BlueCard claims.
If you are interested in becoming a part of our network, contact us at 800-722-3730.
We welcome the participation of new providers in our networks. BCBSOK contracts with various types of physicians, facilities and other health care professionals to form provider networks essential for the delivery of quality, accessible and affordable health care services to our members. Most providers seeking participation in our networks are required to complete our credentialing process prior to acceptance. Our credentialing requirements are derived from and in compliance with the State of Oklahoma, Utilization Review Accreditation Committee (URAC) and National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) credentialing standards.
