2016 Social Responsibility Report Now Available

The 2016 Social Responsibility Report for Oklahoma is now live and highlights Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma's (BCBSOK) community partnerships and employee efforts throughout 2016 that helped address the pressing health needs in Oklahoma.

New this year, a new format was launched, which features a collection of stories representing BCBSOK's impact throughout the year. The new grassroots reporting format is complimented by an updated, modern layout with user-friendly navigation and interactive media. The enhanced experience includes videos of employees, events and community partners, candid photos, and key company milestones.

A few highlights include:

  • On the Road to a Healthier Oklahoma – How our Mobile Assistance Centers are providing a personal touch to consumers living outside of major metro areas.
  • Success of Oklahoma Caring Van – The Oklahoma Caring Foundation's signature program is led by a group of specialists that continue to find innovative ways to provide free preventative services to low-income children across the state.
  • Employee Volunteer Highlights – More than 440 employees volunteered during 2016 resulting in 11,000 direct volunteer hours.
