After You Enroll

After enrolling, you’ll receive a letter acknowledging your enrollment. Medicare must approve enrollment before you are officially a member. About 10 days after you're approved by Medicare, we'll send you a confirmation letter. Your member ID card will be mailed next.

Shortly after you receive the confirmation letter, you’ll get a welcome kit that includes the Evidence of Coverage and formulary. Review these items to understand your benefits, and keep them handy in case you need them.

Check Your ID Card

Please note: You can use your benefits on your effective date, even if your member ID card has not yet arrived in the mail. Once it arrives, make sure the information on the card is correct.

If something is wrong with your ID card, or you need to order a new one, contact us.

Make a Payment

If your plan includes a premium payment, we offer five ways to pay it. Depending on which method you choose, you may or may not receive a printed bill.

Visit our online payment portal to make a quick and easy one-time payment for your monthly premium. Make a Payment.

You will receive a monthly premium bill in the mail, and you may pay by check. Notices are mailed on the 15th of each month with a due date of the first of the next month. For example, your June 15 bill will be due July 1.

Your monthly premium is withdrawn automatically from your checking or savings account on the fourth business day of each month. Download the Automatic Premium Payment (ACH) form here. Print and complete the agreement form, then mail the form as instructed.

Your monthly premium is deducted directly from your Social Security or Railroad Retirement benefit check. You can change your billing option at any time. Contact us.

You can pay your premium with a one-time expedited payment over the telephone. To pay your premium by phone, please call 1-866-398-9054.
