The Claim Inquiry Resolution (CIR) tool can be accessed via a tab in our Electronic Refund Management (eRM) system. By providing a method of online assistance with specific inquiries on finalized claims, this tool can save time by reducing the need for phone calls and written correspondence.
The types of inquiries that may be submitted using this tool are:
- Duplicate denial
- Additional information
- Fee schedule/pricing inquiry
- Federal group
- Preauthorization denial
- I-Bill – (HOST) Prepay High Dollar Review

To gain access to the CIR function, you must be enrolled for eRM. CIR may not be accessed through our Customer Advocates on the phone.
