Mental Health Training for Employees at Every Level

Did you know the Expanded Behavioral Health Product includes the Mental Health First Aid course from The National Council on Mental Wellbeing? MHFA is an evidence-based, early intervention program that teaches participants how to identify, understand and respond to mental health and substance use challenges.

We worked with The National Council to develop a customized digital version of the training, which aims to promote healthier, more supportive work environments.

Benefits for participants include:

• Improved mental health literacy
• Increased confidence and likelihood to help someone in distress
• Reduced stigma and increased empathy

The MHFA course is accessible to members through Blue Access for Members^SM and takes about two hours (may be completed over several days).
