Producer Integrity Standards: What We Expect

April 15, 2026

Applies to All Markets

As a current or potential partner, we expect you to operate with the same high standards of ethics and compliance as our own business associates. Our members and the communities we serve depend on us to act ethically and responsibly. For you, that means supporting our core values of integrity, respect, commitment, excellence and caring; and abiding by our Vendor Code of Ethics and Conduct, which covers:

  • Legal compliance, including the FCPA*
  • Conflicts of interest, gifts and gratuities
  • Privacy and confidentiality
  • Information security
  • Accuracy and retention of records
  • Fair competition
  • Employment and the workplace
  • Use of physical assets
  • Government contracts
  • Use of social media
  • Sustainability
  • Reporting potential misconduct

In the Vendor Code, we give you the same resources we give our own workforce in their Code for reporting integrity concerns. These resources are available 24/7 and can be anonymous:

If you know about actual or potential violations of our Professional Service Agreement, Codes, laws or government contracts, you must bring it to the attention of your Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma business contact or one of the resources listed above. Speaking up isn’t easy. If you are worried about what might happen to you or our business relationship, please know I stand by our company’s non-retaliation policy that will protect you when voicing a concern in good faith.

No matter how you choose to come forward, what’s important is that you connect with someone about your concerns. Ethics connects us. We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to doing business together.
